Ruby Topic Maps (RTM) is developed by Bejamin Bock and is a topic map based Ruby framework. This framework will make it possible to develop topic map based applications on the Rails platform, which is for us, a long awaited addition to the already existing open source topic map based applications frameworks available for use and extension.
The project is still in its infancy, and there is still no real Rails-connection for RTM, but it is still possible to do it with some experimentation, something we will do awaiting and welcoming the new addition to our open source tool chest, and also possible framework for the development of topic map based application frameworks.
Benjamin Bock and Dmitiri Bogachev held introductory tutorials at the Topic Maps2 2008 conference, in the picture we see Dmitri Bogachev introducing his agenda for the tutorial on a possible integration ofr RTM into Rails-applications, and Benjamin Bock probably working on the next development phase of RTM ;)
